Putin Says Russia, U.S. Explore LNG Collaboration
During a meeting with nuclear industry professionals and scientists in Sarov, located in the Nizhny Novgorod region, Putin highlighted that several Russian companies—led by LNG giant Novatek—are already engaged in partnerships with European and Asian nations.
"We are also discussing with American partners the possibility of working together in this area, and not only in our Arctic zone, but also in Alaska," Putin said, as reported by a news agency.
Putin emphasized that Russia's advanced LNG technologies have piqued the interest of international partners, including those in the United States.
