FORT WORTH, TX, UNITED STATES, March 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Vadzo Imaging, a global leader in embedded camera solutions, today announced the launch of Vajra-1335CRA, a high-performance 13MP Autofocus USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 UVC camera designed to overcome traditional USB bandwidth limitations. Powered by the Onsemi AR1335 CMOS sensor and built around the Infineon EZ-USB™ FX20 controller, the camera delivers up to 20Gbps throughput over a single USB-C interface, enabling true high-resolution, high-frame-rate imaging for demanding applications.

The Vajra-1335 CRA is integrated with the Onsemi AR1335 13MP CMOS sensor with onboard ISP support, Dynamic ROI with AE & AF, iHDR, Digital PTZ and more. It delivers a maximum resolution of 13MP and video streaming in 4K, 1080p, 720p. This camera is a UVC Compliant which is allowed for plug and play integrations into Windows, Linux, and supports our very own VISPA ARC SDK for camera control capabilities. These features help in applications requiring high-resolution imaging, high dynamic range (HDR), and superior low-light performance. It is widely used in color imaging applications, including smart retail, AI, video conferencing, and medical devices.

The Vajra-1335CRA integrates the 13MP AR1335 sensor featuring advanced 1.1µm BSI pixel technology, supporting up to 4K at 30fps along with Full HD and HD high-speed video modes. With onboard ISP support, Dynamic ROI with Auto Exposure and Auto Focus, iHDR capability, and Digital PTZ, the camera ensures superior image clarity across challenging lighting conditions. Fully UVC compliant, it offers plug-and-play compatibility with Windows and Linux systems and is supported by Vadzo's VISPA ARC SDK for advanced camera control. The solution is ideal for applications such as smart retail, AI vision systems, and medical devices.

Key features of Vajra-1335CRA - AR1335 Autofocus USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 UVC Camera

USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 - 20 Gbps High-Throughput Vision Interface: The Vajra-1335CRA leverages a dual-lane USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 architecture powered by the Infineon EZ-USB™ FX20 controller to deliver sustained 20Gbps throughput over a single USB-C interface. This enables high-bandwidth, low-latency image streaming with enhanced signal integrity and stability, even in high-frame-rate industrial environments. The interface fully unlocks the performance of the Onsemi AR1335 sensor, supporting full 13MP capture at up to 30fps, as well as 4K 30fps, 1080p 60fps, and 720p 120fps high-speed video modes.

13MP High-Resolution Rolling Shutter Imaging (4208 × 3120 | 1/3.2" Optical Format): Enabled by the Onsemi AR1335 sensor, this camera delivers high-resolution image capture with high density, making it particularly well-suited for applications where the accuracy of the scene and high-level feature inspection are of utmost importance. The rolling shutter design of this camera makes it suitable for high-resolution image capture in space-limited embedded systems and automation solutions with controlled motion.

VCM-Based Autofocus (100 mm-Infinity): The integrated Voice Coil Motor (VCM) autofocus capability allows dynamic focus adjustment from 100mm to infinity. This provides real-time focus optimization for robotic, AGV/AMR, and variable-distance inspection applications without recalibration or lens changes.

High Sensitivity 1.1µm BSI Pixel Architecture with iHDR Support: Built on advanced 1.1µm BSI pixel technology, the AR1335 delivers enhanced quantum efficiency and improved low-light sensitivity. Combined with iHDR capability and programmable exposure control, the camera maintains image detail across challenging lighting conditions, making it suitable for industrial automation, smart retail analytics, and AI-based vision systems.

Low Latency Streaming via USB 3.2 Gen 2×2: The dual-lane 20 Gbps USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 interface supports predictable low latency image streaming, making possible precise robotic control, real-time defect inspection, and AI inference at the edge even in multi-camera, high-speed industrial imaging applications.

Cross-Platform SDK Optimized for High-Bandwidth Imaging: The VISPA ARC SDK provides developers with complete control over all camera operations, allowing for high-speed imaging, real-time adjustments, and AI inference. Compatible with Windows, Linux and embedded systems and with C, C++, C#, and Python, it expedites the implementation of robotics, artificial intelligence and edge-AI vision applications, maintaining deterministic performance across multi-camera setups.

VISPA ARC SDK

The VISPA ARC SDK is a comprehensive programmable framework that can be used to program and control cameras using camera controls, video streaming, and even sensor configuration, with full support and capability for the Vajra-1335CRA 13MP Autofocus USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 UVC Camera, which is based on the Onsemi AR1335.

The SDK allows developers to:

- Configuring dynamic Regions of Interest (ROI) for application-specific field-of-view optimization

- Apply ROI Auto Exposure for stable and repeatable image capture

- Manage trigger hardware and flash synchronization for motion sensitive imaging

- Access various sensor controls, such as binning, windowing, and frame timing

- Manage firmware configuration and updates using secure utilities

The VISPA ARC API has native support for C, C++, C#, and Python, making it easier to use in desktop, embedded, and edge AI platforms with deterministic performance and low-latency streaming.
