Jović Confers with Kazakhstan’s Deputy Foreign Minister

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Damjan Jović met today with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov.

The interlocutors noted that cooperation between the two countries, which are marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year, is at a prominent level, and expressed their commitment to further intensifying cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The Kazakh side reaffirmed its principled support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.

Mutual satisfaction was expressed over the confirmation of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s participation in the upcoming Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade.

The interlocutors noted that there is considerable potential for further enhancing economic and trade cooperation and expressed hope that the upward trend recorded in previous years would continue in the period ahead.

They also exchanged views on current regional and international issues of mutual interest.

The importance of high- and highest-level visits was underscored, and the interlocutors noted that such visits constitute a clear indication of the friendly relations between the two countries.
